Auditions

Playwright: Norm Foster Director: Lisa Gach and Cathy Collis Producer: Carroll Lefebvre Production Dates: Nov 6 - 21, 2026 Rehearsals will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sundays, between Sept 15-Nov 5. Production runs Nov 6-21 with shows on Friday and Saturday evenings and matinees on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The characters : This production will be 2 one act plays, directed by 2 different directors, both shown each performance night, potentially with the same 4 cast members acting in repertory. Actors should be prepared to play between the ages of 30 and 60ish. The Death of Me : When John bargains with the Angel of Death for a second chance at life, he quickly discovers that fixing the mistakes of your past is difficult, and that perhaps his identity is not yet etched in stone. 2 male, 2 female Angel of Death John Adderly Cassie Doctor Under the Bright Sun: Four people wait at a bus stop, where their conversation turns from work and life to questioning their very existence. 2 male, 2 female Ernst Jake Violet Joanne This is a non-equity production. There is no compensation. - Auditions will be a cold read from the scripts. - Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis. - Feel free to bring a résumé and current head shot to the audition. - Diversity in casting of actors of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities are encouraged to audition. - Actors cast are required to become members of Sidekick Players at the first table read.
